There we go, concept doc is finished in time, with 2 hours and 40 minutes to spare, for me, thats an exceptional ammount of spare time left before a deadline ;)

About ur graphics

I think your on the right track when using simple blocks and colors instead of over-detailed textures that just cannibalize on the game design. Try using particle and sound effects instead to make it feel groovy.

Bah

For some reason, when taking the puzzlescreen01 picture the game camera ended up way further back from the board than what is actually possible in the final game. Going to keep it as it is though as an example of game development not working as planned ;)

Update

We got our first real in game picture up showing the graphic style of the early beginner level boards.
Over the past month frustration grew in the BlockZter team as due to various circumstances the team was reduced to four, at the same time we did graphics theme upon graphics theme, and while they all looked great, they kept being too obstructive for the game experience.
Finally we tried a whole new approach and stripped the style down to a clean, simplistic board style with less colors and props in the board graphics. The result was what we were looking for. Although the old graphics were nice eye candy, they ended up confusing the player as to what was of importance on the board.

Hey there!

The boards look like a great start. Puzzle games can be really fun sometimes and I hope yours will be too. I am waiting for the graphics before I go any further in critiques and credits. Laters.
