Looks nice. Not too sure about the heavy bloom effect on everything, though... gives me the feeling that my glasses have gotten dirty. Other than that, this looks cool. :)

I like how you seem to be working your way up iteratively, starting small and taking one step at a time. I think its a good strategy to both make a game that feels complete, polished and fun. Looking forward to testing it! :)

I will definitely consider once I implement most of the items/powerups I have in mind. The lights could be totally awesome when I think about it :)
