By fate he has become the new weilder of The Sword of Light and Dark. He have to unite the two powers to restore harmony once again to the broken land. It's hard to not let the neither nor the other take control of the land. It dosen't matter if it's light or dark, he must uphold the balance.

I like the colors but I would recommend doing him in a 3/4 view and try to emphesize painting in perspective. Don't be afraid to paint in more details on stuff close to camera and less details on stuff further away, this creates a sense of depth. Here is an awesome tutorial that I recommend for everyone :-) You have good painting skills and an eye for detail so I do not doubt you can improve it alot. Keep it up!
